Carl Joseph Brown

 Carl J. Brown, 80, of Sandusky, passed away late Sunday evening, September 17, 2017, at St. Vincent mercy medical Center, Toledo, OH due to injuries from a fall.
   Born on July 6, 1937, In Sandusky, OH the son of Leo Frank and Martha Susanne (Ringlein) Brown.  He was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary's High School and later attended Sacred Heart Seminary school for a short time.  Carl had been a plumber for over 60 years and had owned and operated, Leo F. Brown Plumbing, with his brother, Leo.
   He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and been a member of the Sandusky Moose Lodge, where he had bowled in years past.
   Carl is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy M. (Pratt) Brown, whom he married on August 22, 1959; a daughter, Deborah A. (Greg) Capucini of Sandusky; two sons, Steven C. (Elaine) Brown of Sandusky and Kevin C. (Kimberly) Brown of London; four grandchildren, Zacchary, Trevor, Morgan and Dominic; a brother, Leo A. (Barb) Brown of Sandusky; and two sisters, Celeste (Dr. Vincent) Schlicht of Sandusky and Martha (Samuel) Dietrich of Plymouth, MI; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents.
   At his request cremation is to take place.  The family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2017, from 3-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Carl on Saturday morning at 10:00 am,  September 23, 2017, at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 428 Tiffin Avenue, Sandusky.  Fr.
