Angelo Paul Mularoni

Angelo Paul Mularoni, age 87, of Huron passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on the evening of October 26, 2017. Angelo was born to Joseph and Mary (Riccardi) Mularoni on October 1, 1930.  He was a 1948 graduate of Sandusky High School and was a self-employed contractor, owning APM Contractors for many years, retiring in 1998. Angelo is past Commodore of the Sandusky Yacht Club.  He enjoyed boating and took great pride in all the cars he owned throughout the years.  He also had a special interest in the works of the famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, even replicating some of his work.

Angelo will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  He is survived by Judith (Teel), his wife of 23 years; children Diana (Charles) McAllister of Cape Coral FL, Kim (Neil) Ichiuji-Uppal of Silver Springs MD, Tammy (Ross) Jenkins of Bellevue, Scott (Becky) Mularoni of Grove Beach CA, Julie (Daniel) Bath of Sandusky, and Scott (Karrie) VonHeldt of Valley Village CA; grandchildren Johnny (Jennifer) McAllister, Carla McAllister, Stacy (Lance) Pillersdorf, Julie (Mike) Cyr, Kelly (Griff) Seymour, Lindsay (Richard) Bostic, Alex Mularoni, Garrett Mularoni, Allison (Cooter) Patterson, and Anaya VonHeldt; great-grandchildren Marley McAllister, Harper, Lucas and Chase Pillersdorf, Eliana Bostic, Hunter Scally, and Scarlet Patterson.  He is also survived by his sisters Mary Louise Harding of Tiffin, Kathryn Vasallo of Sandusky, Mother-in-Law Helen Teel of Sandusky, and several nieces & nephews; and his beloved companion, his standard poodle, "Morgan."  He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Mary Mularoni and granddaughter Jennifer McGinnis. 

Angelo was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Sandusky.  At his request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A Celebration of Angelo’s life is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th at 1:00 PM at the Sandusky Yacht Club.  All of Angelo’s family, friends and caregivers are welcome to attend as we celebrate the life and love of Angelo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Angelo’s memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky OH 44870.
