William H. "Bill" Enderby, 68, of Melbourne, FL, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, June 6, 2018, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a battle with cancer.
Born on December 7, 1949, in New London, OH the son of Joseph D. and Mary Jane (Neel) Enderby. Bill was a 1968 graduate of New London High School. For many years, he had worked for the railroad as a lineman for the B & O Chessie System, before retiring. Bill was an avid hunter and especially loved going deer hunting with his sons.
He was a member of the New London Eagles AERIE # 2869, member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 257, in Loudonville, the Ashland V.F.W. Post # 8586 and the N.R.A..
Bill is survived by his daughter, Jody (Craig) Enderby-Howard of Berlin Heights; three sons, Chad (Sandy) Enderby of Ashland, Craig (Becky) Enderby of New London and Corey (Amber) Enderby of Saint Clair, MI; eleven grandchildren; a brother, Joseph (Debbi) Enderby of Arcadia, FL; two nieces and a nephew.
It was his wish to be cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
