Thomas E. Perry, 82, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, August 8, 2024, at his home.
Born on January 9, 1942, in Clintwood, VA the son of Andy and Zella (Mullins) Perry. He had worked at the Sandusky FORD Motor Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1993.
In his younger days, he had enjoyed hunting, but he especially had a love for beagles, he bred them, raised and field trained them for many years, as his dogs would be sent around the area and around the country. He attended the Church of God.
Tom is survived by his two daughters, Charline Tigges and Darlene (Roger) Bibler; three cherished grandsons, Charles Tigges, Travis (Camie) Bibler, and Tony (Emily) Bibler; seven very cherished great-grandchildren, Trinity, Brodie, Cooper, Issabelle, Katlin, Evan and Julian; his brother, Harry (Tessie) Perry; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 42 years, Gloria "Granny" (Kostopoulos) Perry (2017); his son-in-law, William Tigges; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, August 13, 2024, from 10 am until time of the funeral service at 12 pm at the Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Road, Sandusky. The Revs. Sam and Harvey Studer officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Sandusky.
