Theresa Irene (Stutz) Consevage

 Theresa I. "Pinkie" Consevage, 92, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, October 12, 2020, at the Providence Care Center, Sandusky.
   Born on March 30, 1928, in Mt. Carmel, PA the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Golden) Stutz.  In 1969, Theresa moved to the Sandusky area from New Jersey.  She had worked in the Dietary Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, later known as Firelands Hospital, for nearly 25 years before retiring.
   She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a former member of the American Legion, the AMVETS, the VFW and the Sandusky Eagles.
   Theresa is survived by three daughters, Irene Miller, Joan (Timothy) Lehman and Stella Consevage, all of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Darrell Whyde, Ashley (Aaron) Harple, Alan (Kelcie) Miller, Melissa (Brian Kutz) Lehman and Jeffrey (Jackie Corwin) Lehman; a great grandson, Mason; a sister, Katherine Stutz of Mt. Carmel, PA; her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Isobel) Consevage of Huron; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Leonard F. Consevage (May 7, 2012); two grandchildren in infancy; her son-in-law, William L. Miller; three sisters, Betty Stutz, Marie Brown and Leona Dorkowski; and two brothers, Bob and Ed Stutz.
   Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 4-6 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory.  If you are uneasy about attending, please feel free to leave a message to the family on the website.  Prayers will be recited Saturday morning, October 17, 2020, at 9:30 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429  Central Avenue, Sandusky, Fr. Zach Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, in Huron, OH.
   In lieu of flowers,  the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
