Susan Phyllis (Schneider) Galati

 Susan P. "Sue" Galati, 83, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, February 18, 2022, at The Meadows at Osborn Park, Huron, OH.
   Born on June 2, 1938, in Toledo, OH the daughter of Harold John and Eleanor Bertha (Dietiker) Schneider.  She was a 1956 graduate of Danbury High School.  Over the years, she had worked at the Drew Jones Company and later at JAMAC Inc. for over 35 years, before retiring.
   She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. 
   Sue is survived by her daughter, Deborah S. (Paul) Leslie of Huron; two sons, John H. "Jack" (Deborah) Galati of Sandusky and Anthony J. "Tony" (Laura) Galati  of Toledo; her ten grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren ; her sister, Mary Lue (John) Carroll of Port Clinton, OH;  and her nieces and nephews. 
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John F. Galati (1992); her son, David J. Galati (2013); and her brother, Richard R. Schneider.
   It was her wish to be cremated.   Private family graveside service to be held.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, in Marblehead, OH.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870. 
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 5290 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
