Sibyl ‘Gene’ Imogene (Lamb) Pridemore

Sibyl Imogene "Gene" Pridemore, 94, of Beaufort, SC, formerly of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at her family residence in Beaufort.
   Born on December 29, 1924 in Ware Shoals, SC, the daughter of Doc and Nancy Ruth (Free) Lamb.  She later married William Paul Pridemore, he passed away in 2002.  Gene was a member of the Community Bible Church, Young Hearts, and the Burton Wells Senior Center.  She enjoyed flowers, cooking and traveling.
   She is survived by two sons, Mark Pridemore of Sandusky and Mike Pridemore of Beaufort, SC; a daughter, Marlene Patricia "Pat" Caudill of Sandusky; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren ; and two great-great-grandchildren.
   Gene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a son, George W. Pridemore.
   Visitation will be held on Thursday afternoon, January 2, 2020, from 4-6 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, and on Friday morning, January 3, 2020, from 10 am until time of the funeral services at 11 am at the Father's Heart Family Church, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky.  Pastor Tony Robinson officiating.  Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Food Ministry or to Coffee Time, c/o Father's Heart Family Church, 1814 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH 44870.
