Sharon Coe Obituary

Sharon L. (Ramm) Coe, 75, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully  late Monday morning, March 23, 2020, surrounded by her family in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born on May 17, 1944, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Harold Emil and Hildred Ione (Lance) Ramm.  Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Sandusky High School and later graduated from Heidelberg College, in 1967 with a Bachelor Degree in Education.  For 30 years, she had taught in the Sandusky Public School System, especially at Mills and Osborne Elementary Schools, before retiring in 1997.  After retiring, she and her husband, Lee, had spent their winters in Winter Haven, FL for nearly 25 years.
Sharon loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren.  And over the years, she enjoyed camping and attending and traveling to the different sporting events that her grandchildren were involved in.  Sharon will be remembered by her family by how she loved to send out birthday cards to everyone, either being family or friends.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she was on the Choir and had been a Leader in the Bible Study Group. While wintering in Florida, she was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and active with the Church Bible Study Group.  She also had been a member, for many years, of Peacemakers International and, with her husband,  the "Good Sam" Camping Club.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Lee R. W. Coe, whom she married on July 25, 1964; her daughter, Melissa (David) Owens of Sandusky; her two grandsons, Tyler (Elora) Owens of Urbana, IL and Jarret Owens of Sandusky; a sister; two sister-in-laws, Mary Lou (Robert) Keefe of Huron and Judy (Glenn) Riddle of Sandusky; a brother-in-law, Tom Coe of Sandusky; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
It was her wish to be cremated.  And currently due to the Coronavirus health concerns, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky. Inurnment will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Radio Broadcast Fund, c/o Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
