Roxie Frances (Truman) Luzader, 86, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, January 7, 2022, at The Willows at Bellevue, in Bellevue, OH after a lengthy illness.
Born on July 8, 1935, in Swandale, WV, the daughter of Glen and Lucy (Bragg) Truman. For nearly 30 years she had worked for General Motors, retiring in 1989. Over the years, she enjoyed gambling and visiting Las Vegas and the Casinos. She especially loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren at the family parties and gatherings.
She was a member of the U.A.W. Local # 913 and the Sandusky Eagles Club.
Roxie is survived by her loving children, Vanessa (Dave) Nickles, Rebecca Luzader, Donald (Jane) Luzader, Robin (Mike) Criswell and Vince (Jessie) Luzader; her grandchildren that she adored, Tami Nickles, Angel Lewis, Amy (Mark) Davis, Jason (Kelly) Luzader, Sherri Lewis, Justin (Tara) Luzader, April (Eric) Mingus, Jamie Rhuda, Jennifer Luzader, Michael (Rebecca) Criswell, Nathan (Stacey) Luzader and Nicole (Clay) Schaeffer; and her many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Evalina Greenleaf; and her three brothers, Wayne, Larry and Gail Truman.
It was Roxie's wish to be cremated. A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
