Ronald Carl Beese

Ronald C. "Red" Beese, 84, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday evening, August 25, 2024, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.

   Born on November 6, 1939, in Sandusky, OH the son of Harry Edward and Albertine Elizabeth (Nutzki) Beese, Jr..  Over the years, Red had worked at the Marc Pic-n-Pay Grocery Store, then at the Jupiter Discount Department Store and later at K-Mart, where he eventually retired.  He'll be remembered by his family for how he loved shopping for antiques, going to auctions and visiting a variety of garage sales in the local area.  He had been a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and more recently attending Zion Lutheran Church.

   Red is survived by his sister, Clara McCullough; three nieces, Pat (Gary) Savage, Mary Taylor and Ellen Bandel; his nephews, James "Jimmy" and Robert "Robby" McCullough, Ed "Eddie", Keith and Michael Clark, and Chad Beese; and his close friend, Ed Mulder.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wayne and David Beese; his sister, Sharon Clark; and two nephews, David Beese and James "Jimmy" Jump.

   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 10 am until time of the funeral services at 12 pm (noon)  at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Rev. Michael C. Conklin officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
