Robert Rogosch Obituary

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Robert (Bob) Rogosch on November 29, 2024 at the age of 82.  Bob spent his final years with his family at the lake house he built on the Cedar Point Chaussee in Sandusky.

Born in Buffalo, NY, his family moved to Cleveland, where Bob graduated from Euclid High School and was a star tennis player. While in college at Kent State he was a Theta Chi and met the love of his life, Janice (née Keim).

Together they lived in Norwalk for 30 years and enjoyed tennis, sailing, and building a business. Bob had a big personality and loved chatting with people on his daily walks. You were likely to see him on the beach with treats in his pocket for every passing dog.

Bob and Jan spent their time traveling extensively with family and friends and always had great stories and adventures wherever they went. His favorite place to vacation was St. Thomas, USVI, accompanied by friends. Bob had a fondness for playing golf, watching college football, taking cruises with his grandchildren, and enjoying good caramel ice cream.

He is survived by his wife, Janice, their two children Amy (Rogosch) Gill of Greenwood Village, CO and Robb Rogosch of Sandusky, OH; brothers Curt (Vivian) Rogosch of Westland, MI and John (Absara) Rogosch of Falls Church, VA ; Sharon Reeves and Fred Borisuk of Wadsworth, OH; grandchildren Emily (Sam) Adams of Dallas, TX,  Evan Gill of Greenwood Village, CO, Elle Gill of Boston MA; nephews and nieces; Gerritt Reeves, Alan (Nena) Rogosch, David (Danielle) Rogosch, Jeanne (Bob) Sciba, Mary (Pat) McKee.

To commemorate his life and the memories we cherish, a Viking beach funeral will be held for him at a future date.
