Robert B. "Bob" Kessler, 79, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday morning, October 8, 2025, at Admiral's Pointe Nursing Home, in Huron, OH.
Born on February 14, 1946, in San Francisco, California, the son of Dorothy Ann (Sovich) Pischel. He had attended St. Mary's High School. Bob had worked at the Union Chain Company for nearly 40 years, before retiring.
He had been a member of the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene and the Sandusky Eagles Aerie # 444.
Bob is survived by two sons, Lawrence A. "Larry" Kessler of Melbourne, FL and Vincent P. (Jennifer) Kessler of Norwalk; a daughter, Christina I. (David) Sullivan of Norwalk; three grandchildren, Kyla M. and Vincent A. Kessler and Cynthia I Sullivan; sister-in-laws, Tina (Jim) Carpenter of Shelby, Ohio and Rosmary Shockey of Cabot, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and his wife of 46 years, Cheryl I. (Kadow) Kessler on September 17, 2013.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025, from 10 am until time of the funeral services at 12 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Keith A. Martinez officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead, OH.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene, 1617 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH 44870.
