Richard A. Keller, 89, of Sandusky, OH passed away early Saturday morning, August 30, 2025, at Majestic Care of Bryan, in Bryan, OH.
Born on January 20, 1936, in Sandusky, OH the son of Edward John and Mildred (Good) Keller. He was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary's High School. Richard was a carpenter having worked in construction for over 50 years, before retiring.
In his younger days, he loved hunting, boating and had been involved in the Boy Scouts as a Troop Leader for several years.
He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Power Squadron and the Carpenters Union.
Richard is survived by his son, Rod Keller; a daughter, Debbie (Timothy) Hicks; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Hager; a sister-in-law, Hazel Keller; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joann M. (Magi) Keller (2022); a daughter, Cynthia Keller; and two brothers, John and Paul Keller.
Visitation will be held Thursday morning, September 4, 2025, from 8:30 am until 9:40 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky, OH. Fr. Phil Feltman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
