Patricia J. (Lutz) King, 76, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, July 10, 2024, at the Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.
Born on August 6, 1947, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Howard Cory and Jean Anita (Canning) Lutz. Pat was a 1965 graduate of Sandusky High School. She was a veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp.. Pat had worked for the Sandusky Public School System as an Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent for 30 years, retiring in 2003.
She was the most devoted and loving mother and grandmother, the family was her life. Pat was an avid reader, but she'll especially be remembered by her family for her special days. "The Holidays," and the holiday she loved the most was Christmas. She was known to start decorating her house the day after Thanksgiving.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Ken) Johnson of Berlin Hts.; her two grandchildren, Jillian and Caleb Johnson; two brothers, Kevin Lutz of Avon Lake and David Lutz of Huron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning, July 16, 2024, from 9 am until time of the funeral service at 10 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Deacon Jeff Claar officiating. Following the service it was her request to be cremated.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to one's favorite charity.
