Norita M. "Nori" (Baumer) Parish, 83, of Sandusky, passed away late Tuesday evening, December 14, 2021, with family at her side in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Born on April 8, 1938, in Fremont, OH the daughter of Herbert Anthony "Tony" and Marie E. (Ziebold) Baumer. She had worked for awhile for Jamac in Sandusky, OH before retiring. She will be remembered by her family for her love to travel the world and to see a variety of different countries and when she could take time to enjoy gardening at her home.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she was involved on a variety of committees, at the church, and especially as a counter for the Sunday Mass collections.
Nori is survived by her son, Brian L. (Kelly) Parish of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Brianna Parish and John Weaver; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marianne LaFountaine and Sharon Baumer; and a brother, Thomas "Tom" Baumer.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her on Thursday morning, December 30, 2021, at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
