Mary Jo (Kish) Hart

 Mary Jo Hart, 66, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children early Thursday afternoon, November 3, 2022, at Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.

   Born on July 10, 1956, in Toledo, OH the daughter of Edward Joseph and Mary Ellen (Furrow) Kish.  She was a graduate of Perkins High School.

    Mary Jo was a beloved friend to many. She enjoyed listening to music, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a lifelong Browns fan and was able to enjoy one last victory before her passing. 

   Mary Jo is survived by her children; Teri McGinnes, Zach (Jess) Lause, Stephanie Lause, Katie (Kyle Roth) Hart, Emily (Justice) Foreman, Ali Wierman, and Jay Wierman; 18 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Jacob, Reese, Blake, Andrew, Jack, Lilah, Mark, Waylen, Simon, Kade, Liv, Walter, Miyah, Kyle, Jordan, and Keegan; her two sisters, Marla (Randy) Troike and Michele (Bob) Gasteier; two brothers, Michael Kish and Mark (Kirstan) Kish; and numerous nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Lause; the love of her life, Tom Wierman; her nephew, Jason Moore, and her beloved four legged companion, Zeke. 

   It was her wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 from 4 - 7 pm with a time to share memories of Mary Jo following visitation at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH. 

   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
