Mary Jane (Millis) Johnson

 Mary Jane (Millis) Johnson, 96, of Sandusky, passed away late Friday evening, September 26, 2025, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH.

   Born on September 6, 1929, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Kessler) Millis.  Mary Jane was a 1947 graduate of Sandusky High School.  She had worked in accounting at Sears and Holiday Inn before retiring.

   Mary Jane was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the American Legion Post # 83 Ladies Auxiliary.

   She is survived by her son, Steven R. Johnson of Sandusky; two grandchildren, Sophia and Alivia Johnson; sister, Charlotte "Sis" Simmons; brothers, Alan "Shortie" (Marilyn) Millis, Leon (Bridget) Millis and Richard (Teresa) Millis; and her nieces and nephews.

   Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Madeline Parthemore, Paula Newell and Virginia Milis; and two brothers, John and Bernard Millis.

   Graveside services will be Private at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.

   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to one's favorite charity.
