Mary Ann (Pulizzi) Dee was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Mother-in-law and Aunt. She passed away peacefully with her family in Angola, Indiana on September 21, 2021 at the age of 84 after a lengthy illness.
Mary Ann loved spending time with her family in the kitchen cooking & baking for them and anyone else visiting. She would always cook for an army, no one ever left her home hungry. Her family was everything to her, making every holiday a special event for gathering. She would wake up before 6am to start cooking, ending her day well after midnight. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Central Catholic High School in Sandusky, and retired from the Ford Motor Company in Sandusky after 30 years of service. She was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky where she was involved in the Bereavement Luncheon Committee and the IAB Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vito & Barbara (Lamia) Pulizzi, her husband of 62 years, James C. Dee; brother Andrew (Anita) and sister Pauline (Pulizzi) Pruitt. She is survived by her sons Anthony of Sandusky; James (Marti) of Angola, IN; Timothy of Sandusky; Brian (Beth) of Vermilion; brother Tony (Terry) Pulizzi of Sandusky; granddaughters Devan of Savannah, GA; Maria & Gabriella of Vermilion; grandsons Michael of Bowling Green; Brendan of Vermilion; and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
