Marian E. (Keller) Didion, 92, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, April 24, 2021, at the Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.
Born on June 18, 1928, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Carl and Leona (Harkleroad) Keller. She was a 1946 graduate of Sandusky High School. She will be remembered by her family for being a loving mother and a great babysitter, as well as, a fantastic seamstress having made over the years marvelous articles of clothing and other items for her family and the home. Marian also had enjoyed playing cards and working on puzzles.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she had been involved with the bereavement committee and the Altar Rosary Society.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Carl) Myerick; and her two sons, Robert (Gayle) Didion and Jeffrey (Renee) Didion, all of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Jeremy (Brooke) Didion, Jason (Lexi) Didion, Chad (Jenny) Myerick, Jennifer (Kevin) Geiger and April (Andy) Carroll; 10 great-grandchildren, Austin, Logan and Bentley Carroll, Chase Myerick, Kayla and Taylor Schnell, Keira Geiger, Elisah, Alexander and Jackson Didion; her sister, Marjorie Campbell of Bellevue; three sisters-in-law, Jean Keller, Connie Hipp and Wilma Hammersmith, all of Norwalk; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Celestine E. Didion on December 31, 2010; and two brothers, Emerson and Bernard Keller.
Visitation will be held on Monday morning, May 3, 2021, from 8:30 am until time of prayers at 9:30 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory. If you are uneasy about attending, please feel free to leave a message to the family on our website. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Zack Brown officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
