Margaret Eleanor (Justice) Castello

Margaret  E. (Justice) Castello,  96, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, December 10, 2020, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky. 
   Born on February 12, 1924, in Bellaire, OH the daughter of Clarence and Carrie (Cutshaver) Justice.  Margaret's life was her family.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.  Margaret lived her life with true courage, strength, honesty, and kindness; hers was a noble, long and beautiful life.  Her love, grace and humor had touched the lives of many throughout the years. Margaret was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Sandusky.
   She is survived by her children, John Castello, Tom (Yoshimi) Castello, Connie Castello, Virginia Lillian, Kim (Frank) Corder, Pam Castello, and Bob (Julie) Castello; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Carol Castello; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

   Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Leo V. Castello on July 5, 2005; a son, James Castello; a daughter-in-law, Marcia Castello; two sisters, Elizabeth "Libby" Surratt and Catherine Surratt; and two brothers, Fred and William Justice.
   It was her wish to be cremated.  At the request of the family, no funeral services will take place at this time.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Stein Hospice Services, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
