Lee Ann "L A" Nesselhauf, 65, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly late Monday afternoon, July 20, 2020, at her home.
She was born on June 14, 1955, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Henry Charles and Marjorie Ann (Shrigley) Nesselhauf.. She was 1973 graduate of Perkins High School. Lee Ann had worked for many years at New Departure-Hyatt Inc. (a Division of General Motors) before retiring. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a "True Hippie" a lover of the "70's." Instilled in her was a love for nature and for all animals. Lee Ann loved her pets, as she raised and cared for any type of animal...it could be her monkey, her skunks, for it just did not matter to her whatever the animal may be...she loved them all.
She was a member of the Bellevue V.F.W. Post # 1238, the Bellevue Eagles AERIE # 490 and Local # 913.
Lee Ann is survived by her Soul Mate and "Better Half" of over 20 years, Jerry L. Eversole; her sister, Wendy (David) Livengood of Sandusky; a brother, James (Jill) Nesselhauf of Zebulon, NC; and several nieces and nephews; also survived by Jerry's family, Alan (Karen) Eversole, Brenda (John) McNulty, Larry Eversole, Cindy (Doug) Seymour and Linda Windau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and Jerry's mother, Joyce Eversole.
Visitation will be held on Saturday afternoon, July 25, 2020, from 2-5 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of masks (will be offered) and social spacing will be recommended. If you're uneasy about attending, please feel free to leave a message to the family on the website. It was her wish to be cremated following the visitation. No funeral services will be held.
