Larry Von Corvin

 Larry V. Corvin, 83, of Huron, passed away peacefully late Monday afternoon, October 11, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus,  Sandusky, after a brief illness.
   Born on June 7, 1938, in Oak Hill, OH the son of Frederick Von and Wanda Fern (Davis) Corvin.  Larry was a 1956 graduate of Oak Hill High School and later graduated from the DeVry Institute in Chicago, IL.  He had worked at New Departure- Hyatt Inc., a division of General Motors,  as a millwright, for nearly 30 years, before retiring in 1993.  His family will remember him for how he could fix anything.  He was a man of great integrity and a hard worker.  The family will also take comfort knowing that he knew the Lord.
   In years past, he loved to bowl, but he especially loved to travel in his motor home, with his wife, Elizabeth, around the country.  He also enjoyed  taking the time and watching all of the the Cleveland sports teams.  
   Larry was a member of Local # 913 and the Sandusky Eagles Club.
   He is survived by his family, Becky (Jim Thornton) Uhl of Parkersburg, WV,  Kassia (Jeff) McMinn of Milan, Heidi Busdicker of Milan and Tyson (Ella) Corvin of Beachwood, OH; 18 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Becky) Uhl, Colby (Jenny) Uhl, Judd (Becca) Uhl, Isacc (Jenni) Uhl, Benjamin Busdicker, Lizzy (Josh) Manrow, Hailee (Stefan) Taylor, Corvin McMinn, Beau Busdicker, Brock (Alexandria) Busdicker, Noah McMinn, Montana (Omar) Cavazos, Aubree McMinn, Marlie (Alex) Michel, Mya Corvin, Marina Corvin, Holly Busdicker, Charlotte Goykhberg; also 25 great-grandchildren; a sister, Reva Baer of Lowell, MI; a sister-in-law, Myrt Wenmoth of Vienna, WV; and nieces and nephews.
   Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth N. (Deems) Corvin on April 23, 2021; two son-in-laws, Von Uhl and Bill Busdicker.
   At his request, private family funeral services will take place.  Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron, OH.
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
