Julia Katherine Casserly

    Julia K. "Julie" Casserly, 81, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, June 1, 2021, unexpectedly at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, surrounded by her loving family.
   Julie was born on January 12, 1940, the daughter of Frank Joseph and Minnie LaVina (Tanner) Casserly.  She was a 1958 graduate of St. Mary's High School.  Julie worked in the Home Health field for over 25 years, retiring in January 2005.  She resided in Marion, OH for 26 years returning to Sandusky in 1992.  Among the many things Julie cherished in life was sharing her faith and love of Christ.   She had also been a volunteer at Fireland's Hospital Spiritual Care Unit.  Over the years, Julie had enjoyed her family get-togethers, especially going to her grandchildren's sporting events, going to Kelleys Island and other outings with her former classmates (58' Dockers), Cedar Point, walking, reading, but mostly  just being with her family and friends.
   Julie is survived by her four sons, Daniel Beverick of Huron, John (Tracie) Fetter of Sandusky, Ron (Missy) Fetter of Chesapeake, VA, and Tim (Kate) Beverick of Sugar Land, TX; and her daughter, Lori Kennedy of Sandusky; her ten grandchildren, Chase, Caylee, Cross and Crew Fetter of Sandusky, Andrew (Louka) Fetter of VA, Tom, Erin, and Kathleen Beverick of TX, Addie and Boston Kennedy of Sandusky; her sister, Nancy Roesch of Sandusky; and a number of nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, William "Bill" Beverick.
   Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon, June 6, 2021, from 2-6 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  A funeral service will be held following the visitation.  Officiating will be Rev. John Jacobs of the Church of the Open Door. It was her wish to be cremated following the services.   
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Sandusky Central Catholic School Endowment Fund, 410 W. Jefferson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
