Judith Carol (Stout) Haas

 Judith C. "Judi" Haas, 77, of Findlay, passed away peacefully Monday morning, October 29, 2018, surrounded by her family in the Bridge Hospice Care Center, in Findlay, after a very brief illness.

   Born on December 16, 1940, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of William Rector and Alice Jean (Cooper) Stout.  She was a 1958 graduate of Huron High School.  Judi found her solace in her gardens surrounded by her flowers, her birds, and her squirrels. She enjoyed her Sudokus and word puzzles over coffee every morning, and could always be found with a book close by.  Her happiest times were when she was surrounded by her family and friends sharing her laughter, her sassiness, and her beautiful spirit. And she gave the most unforgettable hugs ever! She was an amazing person and her light and love will be forever felt by anyone who knew her.

   Judi is survived by her children, Deb Miller, Taire Haas, David A. Haas II and Sandy Haas, all of Findlay; nine grandchildren: Steve (Wendy), Chris (Rachel), Nicole (Gil), Jacob (Brandi), Ryleigh, Alicia (Brandon), Megan (Rob), Andrea (Quentin), and Erin; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Susie Sanders of Castalia and Barb Wiley of Sandusky; her Aunt Nina Ingles of Sandusky; and many other family and friends.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, David A "Old Fart" Haas; a brother, Bill Stout; and three sisters, Nancy Faulhaber, Peggy Yost and Penny Stein.

   Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 3-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, and Monday morning, November 5, 2018, from 10 am until time of the funeral services at 11 am at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky, OH. It was Judi's wishes to be cremated following the services.  Burial will take place at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in Findlay, time and date yet to be determined.

   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Bridge Hospice Care Center, 1900 S. Main Street, Findlay, OH 45840-1214.
