Judith E (Muscioni) Farrar

 Judith E. "Judy" (Muscioni) Farrar 91, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon, November 16, 2021, with family at her side at The Meadows at Osborn Park, in Huon, OH.
   Born on December 21, 1929, on Kelleys Island, OH the daughter of Vincent and Lucia (Macina) Muscioni.  Judy was a 1947 graduate of Sandusky High School.  She had worked at New Departure-Hyatt Inc. (a Division of General Motors) for over 30 years, retiring in 1987.  Prior to that she had worked in the business office at Voegel Cake Decorating for a few years.  Over the years, Judy enjoyed playing cards with her friends, baking and cooking.  She especially loved tending to her flowers, her yard and spending time with her family and the grandchildren.
   Judy was a citizen of the Republic of San Marino and a member of Comunita Sammarinese di Detroit, and also a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society, the Daughters of Isabella, the Ladies Auxiliary at the Italian-American Beneficial Club and a social member at the AMVETS Post # 17.
   She is survived by her son, Mark A. (Marilyn) Farrar, Sr.; a daughter, Michele (Rick J.) Pusateri, both of Sandusky; her five grandchildren, Andrea (Dale) Flewelling, Mark (Danielle) Farrar, Jr., Trisha (Dominic) Giardina, Kristie (Bryan) Kurilic and Rick A. (Chelsea) Pusateri; her 12 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Layla, Garrett, Elizabeth, Vinny, Gianna, Jordan, Lucia, Lucas, Cooper, Landon and Ellie; a brother, Frank Muscioni of Sandusky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Anthony P. "Tony" Farrar (2000) whom she married on June 24, 1950; her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony "Tony" and Rose Muscioni, Sr.; and her sister and brother-in-law, Emma and Tom Scally; and sister-in-law, Joan Muscioni. 
   Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Prayers will be recited Wednesday morning, November 24, 2021, at 9:40 am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Fr. Zachary Brown officiating and co-celebrate will be Deacon Phil Dinovo.  Entombment will be in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Sandusky.
