Over the years, she had enjoyed spending time with the family, tending to her gardens, roaming around the local flea markets, and taking day trips to the islands. She will be remembered by her family how she truly loved sewing and quilting even to this day she was working on a quilt.

She is survived by her family, her daughter, Deborah A. (Greg) Capucini of Sandusky; two sons, Steven C. (Elaine) Brown of Sandusky and Kevin C. (Kimblerly) Brown of London; her four grandchildren, Zacchary (Katy) Brown, Trevor Brown, Morgan (Matt) Eilerman and Dominic (Kourtney) Capucini; and two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Hadley.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, Carl J. Brown, (on September 17, 2017), whom she had married on August 22, 1959; and her sister, Beverly I. Hicks-Kump.
At her request cremation is to take place. A private family "Celebration of Judy's Life" will be held at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870, or to Back To The Wild, P.O. Box 423, 4504 Bardshar Road, Castalia, OH 44824.
