John S. "Jack" Holroyde, 63, of Huron, passed away unexpectedly late Friday evening, June 25, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
Born on January 30, 1958, in Bangor, Maine the son of John Seifert and Doris Sylvia (O'Keefe) Holroyde. He was a graduate of University of Toledo and Western Michigan University .
For nearly 35 years, Jack had owned and operated several Marco's Pizza franchises. The current are located in Norwalk and Mentor-On-the-Lake, OH.
What he loved most was his family. Some of his favorite memories include going to Indians games, playing various sports with his children, and going out to dinner with everyone he loved.
He will be remembered by his family and friends as a constant jokester, animal lover and an all around friendly and caring man.
Jack is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Catherine E. Holroyde, whom he married on March 17, 1997 (St. Patrick's Day); his family, Ashleay, Brandin, Kristen, and Hannah Holroyde, all of Huron; his two grandsons, James and Dennis; and his loyal fur-children, "Timmy" and "Onyx."
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 4-7 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. It was his wish to be cremated following visitation.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to one's favorite charity.
