Jodi L. Meinzer, 63, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Monday afternoon, May 19, 2025 at her sister's home in Milan, OH.
Born on November 25, 1961, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Roderick Nathaniel and Nancy Jean (Graves) Meinzer. She was a 1980 graduate of Sandusky High School. Jodi had worked at the Ohio Veterans Home, in Sandusky, for nearly 20 years, before retiring. She will be remembered by her family for having a great sense of humor and being a true jokester and having a love for animals, especially rescuing them.
Jodi is survived by her stepfather, Bob McPeek of Sandusky; her brother, Mike (Stephanie) Meinzer of Sandusky; a sister, Julie (Dan) Fedorenko of Milan; a stepbrother, Randy (Donna) McPeek of Collins; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy J. McPeek and father Roderick Meinzer; and her sister, Lori Meinzer.
It was her wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday morning, June 3, 2025, at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Jerald A. Fenske officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870.
