Jeremy Neese Obituary

Jeremy Latham Neese, 49, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2025, at his home.

Born on December 7, 1975, in Sandusky, OH the son of Jack Robert Neese and Jill Ann (Gahagan) Neese.  Jeremy was a 1994 graduate of Perkins High School.  He was a veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps..  Jeremy was self-employed, having worked in the boating industry in the local area for the past several years.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his son, going fishing, the arts, and mushroom hunting.  Jeremy will especially be remembered by his family for being a true jokester, an avid fan of the Browns and how he was very very patriotic (he had a die hard love for his country and the Marine Corps.).   Also, he had a love for the arts, music and the film industry.

He was a life member of the A.M.V.E.T.S. Post # 17.

Jeremy is survived by his son, Jackson Latham Neese and his mother, Jennifer Lowe; a stepson, Joseph R. Sandy; his mother, Jill (Robert Niehm) Neese; his father, Jack (Rhonda) Neese; a sister, Caroline (John) Colwell; his two brothers, Christopher (Christa) Neese and Brian (Dahlia) Niehm; a niece, Arianna Mae Neese; and multiple aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Carolyn Gahagan; his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Helen Hoffman; and his paternal grandfather, Roland Neese.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 11 am until time of the funeral service at 1 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Deacon Bill Burch officiating.  Jeremy will later be laid to rest next to his grandmother, Carolyn Gahagan, in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.  Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 83 and the V.F.W. Post # 2529.
