Janet K. "Jake" (Redinger) Hoover, 59, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Sunday morning, August 1, 2021, at her home from natural causes.
Born on December 17, 1961, in Cleveland, OH the daughter of Robert Stephen and Mary "Anne" (Woernley) Redinger. Janet was a 1980 graduate of Perkins High School. For over 20 years she had worked at Walmart. Janet loved her arts and crafts and she especially enjoyed creating door hanger displays for certain seasons, the holidays and for special occasions. She loved her "Walk for Life" quilt.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years. Russell L. "Russ" Hoover; her brother, Robert "Rob" (Marci) Redinger of Hope Valley, RI; and her nieces and nephews.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joan Davis; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
It was her wish to be cremated. A "Celebration of Life" will be held by the family at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to one's favorite charity.
Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
