James Galen Roth

 James G. "Jim" Roth, 64, of Sandusky, passed away early Sunday afternoon, October 20, 2024, at the Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

   Born on August 13, 1960, in Sandusky, OH the son of Todd Alan and Donna Louise (Lane) Roth.  He was a 1978 graduate of Sandusky High School.   Over the years, Jim had worked at a variety of auto stores, including, Hartland Auto, Action Auto, and later at Asher Brothers.   He loved auto racing and had been involved with the Sandusky Speedway and the Norwalk Dragway. Jim also had a love for nature and for animals, he especially enjoyed feeding the birds and the squirrels in his neighborhood.

   Jim is survived by his brother, Teddy Roth of Sandusky; and other relatives.

   He was preceded in death by his parents.

   It was his wish to be cremated.   A graveside service will be held for Jim on Monday morning, November 4, 2024, at 11 am at Oakland Cemetery, 2917 Milan Road, Sandusky, OH.

 His family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his name to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Back To The Wild, P.O. Box 423, Castalia, OH 44824.
