Harold A. David II, 79, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Saturday afternoon, December 5, 2020, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
Born on October 12, 1941, in Sandusky, OH the son of Harold August and Phyllis Lucille (Lamb) David. He was a 1960 graduate of Sandusky High School. Harold was a veteran, having served honorably in the U.S. Army. For over 30 years, he had worked at the Sandusky Foundry and Machine Inc., retiring in 1997. Over the years, he enjoyed gardening, camping, art work and being involved in reenactment of activities.
\ Harold was a member of Father's Heart Family Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, , Rosalie A. (Payne) David; his two daughters, Jennifer Louise David of Vickery and Kimberly Marie (Steve) Stoffo of Windfield, AL; two sons, Eric David of Sandusky and Timothy August David of Columbus, OH; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; his two brothers, Phillip M. David and Daniel J. David both of Monroeville; and nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister-in-law, Jayne David.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning, December 11, 2020, from 10 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army.
