Gustav G. "Gus" Miller, III, of Trenton, MI, formerly of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Monday evening, August 10, 2020, in the Beaumont Hospital, Trenton.
Gus graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1976 and continued his education at Bowling Green State University, completing his bachelors degree in computer science.
He is the beloved husband to Michelle (Dise) Miller for 21 years, loving father to Garrett (Nina) and Lauren. son of the late Gustav and Claudia "Marie" (Benedettini) Miller. Dear brother of Mark (Pat) Miller, Debbie (Joel) Lynn, Terry (Daniel) White, Lisa Todd-Martin, the late Scott (Cheryl) Miller. Gregory (Lynn) and Bruce Todd. Son-in-law of Charles and the late Nancy Dise, brother-in-law of Dave and Charla Moscioni, and brother-in-law of Brian Dise. He will forever be remembered by his nieces, nephews and his extended family and dear friends; including Chad Walton his college roommate and lifelong best friend.
He also was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gemma (Berti) Benedettini,; his great-uncle, Anthony "Big" Tony" Berti; a sister-in-law, Robyn Todd; and a nephew, Ryan Todd.
Gus was the happiest when he was surrounded by the comfort of his family. He was an avid sports fan, especially for his Ohio State Buckeyes. He was deeply involved in his children's sporting events and teams, and loved to spend his days at the field. He fought a long battle with his health, and will now rest peacefully. He will be forever missed.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
