Geraldine 'Gerry' Ann (Yontz) Kaman

Geraldine A. "Gerry" (Yontz) Kaman, 80, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Sunday afternoon, January 10, 2021, at the Commons of Providence Memory Care, Sandusky.
   Born on February 14, 1940, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Albert Louis and Helen Marie (Warren) Yontz.  Gerry had worked as a bar maid at Kaman's Korner
for many years, before retiring with her husband, Ron, in 2001.  She enjoyed the outdoors, but she especially loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren.  Gerry was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
   She is survived by her family, Ronald L. (Kathy) Kaman of Sandusky, Patricia M. "Patti" (Larry) Lippert of Castalia, Larry A. (Nancy) Kaman of Sandusky, and Vicky A. (Matt) Nye of Castalia; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Janice Casanova of Sandusky; two brothers, Wayne (Donna) Yontz of Norwalk and Dean (Doris) Yontz of Fremont; son-in-law, Steve A. Schuh of Berlin Heights; and several nieces and nephews.
   Gerry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 51 years, Ronald J. "Ron" Kaman on June 12, 2006; and her daughter, Julie A. Schuh on December 8, 2017,
   At the request of the family, private services to be held on Thursday, January 14, 2021.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
