Georgina S Hartson, 60, residing in Sandusky, went home to the Lord shortly after midnight on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky after a long battle with kidney disease.

Georgina was born on February 22, 1961, in Brooklyn, NY and resided the majority of her life in Miami, Florida. She recently moved to Ohio with her husband, Thomas, to be closer to her granddaughter, Karmen. Georgina enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and spending warm peaceful evenings fishing with her husband on the pier. She also enjoyed going new places, shopping and having barbeques with family. Georgina is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Hartson; her children, Paul (Kristin) Kovac and Jon Kovac; a granddaughter, Karmen Kovac; a sister, Gloria Simon; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Javier Suarez; her mother, Gloria Suarez; and a sister, Lilly Ludwig.

Per Georgina’s wishes there will be no funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made in Georgina’s name to The Kidney Foundation of Ohio, at kfohio.org.
