Ezra Jane Scheid, 20, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Sunday evening, October 18, 2020, at her home.
Born on September 29, 2000, in Sandusky, the daughter of Adam Jason Scheid and Amanda Jane Fleeman. She was a 2018 graduate of Huron High School. She'll be remembered by her family as being truly spirited, a "flower child" of her time and totally a happy-go-lucky individual. Ezra was always full of energy and traveling at a hundred miles per hour ALL the time. She loved her family and attending their events and gatherings, especially Christmas. Ezra attended The Chapel-Sandusky Campus and was faithful in attending her AA meetings.
Ezra is survived by her brothers and a sister, Conrad, Ellie and Cathen; a maternal grandfather, Jimmy (Julie) Fleeman of Macedonia, IL; her maternal great-grandmother, Lola Hogue of Huron; a maternal aunt, Anita "Nini" (Mike) Davis; and her maternal uncle, Jason (Michelle) Fleeman both of Sandusky; a paternal uncle, Dr. Dewey (Pamela) Scheid of Oklahoma City, OK; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her paternal grandparents, Commodore Scheid and Pearl Pascoe; her maternal grandmother, Jeanita "Jeet" Fleeman; a maternal great grandmother, Mary Ayers; and a great aunt, Billie Gayle Boso.
As requested, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Monday morning, November 2, 2020, from 11 am until time of the memorial service at 1 pm at The Chapel - Sandusky Campus, 4444 Galloway Road, Sandusky. Rev. Eric M. Lapata officiating. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, wearing of face masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
