Eric W. Weedman, 55, of Sandusky, OH passed away peacefully early Friday evening, April 22, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home.
Born on July 9, 1966, in Sandusky, OH the son of Ronald Theodore and Mary Ann (Stephens) Weedman. He was a 1984 graduate of Northwest High School in Lucasville, OH. Eric staring working at a young age and had worked for nearly 40 years for I.P.C. and later for Ventra Sandusky. He will be remembered by his family as being a proud grandpa and how he loved his grandkids. Eric enjoyed spending time with his family as he took them, over the years, camping, fishing and sharing with them his love for the water. He will also be remembered for how he was a true fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals.
Eric was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 83 and the Sons of AMVETS Post # 17.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Kathy (Short) Weedman; his family, Dale Caudill, Ashley (Brian) Wobser, Tyler (Tanner) Caudill, Kyle Weedman and Katelyn Wicker, all of Sandusky.; his 13 grandchildren, Dylan, Lillian, Nova, Hunter, Cole, Alieghna, Gracie, Kacee, Tyler, Nolan, Macee, Phoenix and Karter; his sister, Kim (Gale) Cunningham of Huron; a niece, Ashley Febbo; and a nephew, Brad Febbo.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents.
It was his wish to be cremated. A funeral service will be held Friday morning, April 29, 2022, at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Deacon Bill Burch officiating.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.
