Donna B. (Klinck) Thompson, 90, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Monday afternoon, February 5, 2024, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Born on November 15, 1933, in Fremont, OH the daughter of Russell James and Ruth Irene (Werth) Klinck. She was a 1951 graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Donna was a realtor for Century 21 Real Estate for many years before retiring in 1988. Prior to that, she had worked as a waitress for nearly 15 years at the former Showboat and the Twine House, in Huron, OH.
Donna enjoyed playing cards especially Bridge with her friends, reading, doing puzzles and spending time with family.
She is survived by a daughter, Charlene Stine of Sandusky; her two granddaughters, Shannon (Jamie) Kramer of Milan and Stefanie (Nick) Diederich of Huron; her great-grandchildren, Carter, Grayson, Grace and Joey; her son-in-law, Robert C. "Bob" Koch, Jr. of Sandusky.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle A. Thompson (1994); a daughter, LuAnne K. (Stine) Koch (January 1, 2024); a sister, Sally Markin; and two brothers, Daniel and Cameron Klinck.
It was her wish to be cremated. A private family service will be held. Interment will be in Scott Cemetery, Huron, OH.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk, OH 44857.
