Donna Louise (Lane) Roth

Donna L. (Lane) Roth, 78, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday afternoon, July 21, 2020, at The Meadows at Osborn Park, Huron, after an illness.
   Born on October 5, 1941, in California, PA, the daughter of William Henry and Mary Ann (Underwood) Lane, Sr..  Donna had attended Sandusky Public Local Schools.  She had worked at the Providence Hospital in housekeeping for over 20 years and later went on to Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, retiring in 2008.  Over the years, she enjoyed cross stitching and working on word puzzles.
   Donna is survived by two sons, James Galen "Jim" Roth and Teddy Alan Roth, both of Sandusky; a sister, Joyce Ann (Ralph) Lakin of Port Clinton; and two nieces, Pam Sue Kubasek of Catawba Island and Jennifer Lynn Orwszo of Oak Harbor, OH; her brother-in-law, Neil Roth of Sandusky; two nephews, Jeff and Jim Roth; a great-nephew, Benjamin Lakin; a great-niece, Danielle Lakin; and a great-great-nephew, Lucas Russell.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband 52 years, Todd A. Roth on February 20, 2013; and her brother, William "Bill" Lane, Jr. (2007); and a nephew, Danny Lakin.
   At her request no visitation will be held.  It was her wish to be cremated.  A graveside service will be held Saturday morning, July 25, 2020, at 11 am in Oakland Cemetery, 2917 Milan Road, Sandusky.  The family requests that masks must be worn.  Chaplain Mel Sayler of Stein Hospice officiating.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to the American Heart Association, 4331 Keystone Dr., D, Maumee, OH 43537  .
   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
