Donald Edward Sams

Donald E. Sams, 88, of Millersburg, OH, passed away peacefully early Wednesday afternoon, April 9, 2025, at the Bellevue Care Center, in Bellevue, OH

   Born on June 11, 1936, in Ravenswood, WV the son of Robert D. and Eleanor F. (Wilson) Sams.  For the past several years he had been working as a security guard, in Elyria, OH, at different companies, before retiring.

   Don is survived by his family, Teresa (Donald) Swanson, Ida Sams, Melinda (Marcus) Hartley, Donald (Cindy) Sams, and Sherry (Tom) Schnell; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and he is also survived by other relatives and family members.

   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Diane J. (Borer) Sams; his daughter, Joann Larew; and his son, Jason E. Sams.

   Don will be interred by his wife in Calvary Cemetery, in Lorain, OH.

   Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
