Donald J. "Big D" Lugtig, 57, of Norwalk, OH passed away early Wednesday evening, August 3, 2022, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, OH.
Born on October 24, 1964, in Sandusky, OH the son of Douglas Roy and Ruth Ann (Riley) Lugtig. For over 30 years he had worked as a Shop Manager in the Trucking Industry in the local area. Over the years, he loved riding his Harley, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Mikel A. (Tabitha) Lugtig of Monroeville; his three grandchildren; three sisters, Kathy, Susan and Sharon; his brother, Douglas; the mother of his son, Mary Lugtig; and Grams, Barbara Bennett.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Michael.
It was his wish to be cremated. A "Celebration of Life" will be held for Don on Sunday afternoon, August 14, 2022, at 1 pm at the Knucklehead Saloon, 2012 Cleveland Road, W., Unit A, Huron, with a 3:00 PM local bar motorcycle memorial ride.
Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
