Christie L. (Heckart) Plummer

Christie Lynn Plummer, 62, of Sandusky, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 11, 2021, at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
   Born on July 28, 1959, in Toledo, OH the daughter of Ronald Bruce and Barbara Eugenia (Jackson) Heckart.  Christie was a graduate of Bowsher High School in Toledo, OH.  For many years she had worked as a waitress for different restaurants in the local area.  In years past, she loved to bowl and was a member of the bowling leagues in the Sandusky area. She was a member of the Sandusky Eagles Club  Aerie # 444. 
   Christie is survived by her son, Kyle Gomer of Sandusky; her daughter, Kelli Bring of Lorain; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild; her sister, Brenda; and her step-father, Richard Staffon.
   Christie was preceded in death by her mother, Barb Staffon,
   It was her wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon, August 24, 2021, from 2:30 pm until time of the memorial service at 3 pm at Calvary Baptist Church, 1810 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. David L. Hixson officiating.
   The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Cancer Services of Erie County, 505 E. Perkins Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to one's favorite charity.
