Chris A. "Big C" Ulery, 74,  of Sandusky, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, December 31, 2024, in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

   Born on November 5, 1950, In Sandusky, OH the son of William Irvin and Maxine Marie (Caswell) Ulery.  He was a 1970 graduate of Sandusky High School.  Chris had worked for 37 years at Sandusky Chrysler Plastics, before retiring in 2006.

   He loved to socialize with others and he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys.  In his younger days he enjoyed fishing and bowling.

   Chris was a member of the Sons of AMVETS Post # 17 where he was a charter member and past president for many years. 

   He is survived by two sons: Brian (Tracey) Ulery of Sandusky and Jason (Melissa) Ulery of London, OH; his six grandchildren, Elizabeth, Bronson, Quinn, Kate, Dylan and Charlie; his step-grandchildren, Alayna, Jacob and Emma; a sister, Sharon (Jeff) Slomsky of Bellevue; his four brothers, Richard "Rick" (Ann) Ulery of Norwalk, William (Brenda) Ulery, Ron (Terri) Ulery and Randy (Theresa) Ulery, Sr., all of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.

   Chris was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry L. "Scooter Man" Ulery; and his nephews, Ronald Ulery, Jr. and Randy Ulery, Jr..

   It was his wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, January 5, 2025 from 2 pm until time of the memorial service at 4 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating. 

   The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.
