Caroline F. (Simmons) Willman, 76, of Norwalk, OH passed away peacefully early Saturday afternoon, November 30, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home after a brief illness.
Born on November 19, 1948, in Terre Haute, IN the daughter of Theodore and Mildred Marie (Allen) Simmons. Caroline was a homemaker and had in her earlier days worked as a waitress at Mom's Open Kitchen, in Elyria, OH for a few years, as well as, other restaurants over the years.
She enjoyed spending time with the family and the grandchildren and also found comfort in crocheting, sewing, working on cross word puzzles and was a collector of angels.
Caroline is survived by her children, Larry (Christine) Folley of Millbury, OH, Melissa "Missy" (Luis) Rodriguez and Christopher Michael (Missy) Folley both of Lorain, OH; her 10 grandchildren, Miranda (Folley) Zamora, Brandon Folley, Ashley Folley, Tiffany Gjerek, Morgan Folley, Travis Folley, Mikenna Thomas, Stephanie Folley, Thomas Folley and Kylee Folley; her great-grandson, Andres Michael Zamora; a brother, Paul Simmons; her three sisters, Helen Dummitt, Susan Dummitt and Shirleen Godless; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Larry Folley; her second husband, David Willman; three brothers, Theodore, Jr., Wayne and Donald Simmons; and her four sisters, Betty Herrington, Rosemary Prouse, Martha Beard and Joan Nemeth.
It was her wish to be cremated. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH.
