Barbara A. (Snyder) Wyatt

Barbara A. (Snyder) Wyatt, 89, of Sandusky, passed away on Thursday morning, July 18, 2024, at the Parkvue Health Care Center, Sandusky.

   Born on February 12, 1935, in Sandusky, OH the daughter of Donald William and Catherine Elizabeth (Miller) Snyder.  Barb was a 1953 graduate of Sandusky High School.  She had worked for the Sandusky Public Schools as a cafeteria manager for nearly 25 years retiring in 1999.  Barb enjoyed reading but she especially loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren.

   She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.

   Barb is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Marc) Keech of Long Beach, CA; her son, Michael (Denise) Wyatt of Colorado City, CO; and her grandchildren, Jeremy and Megan.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of  60 years, James L. "Jimmy" Wyatt on August 24, 2016; her sister, Lois (Keech) Lippert; and her brother, Donald Snyder.

   It was her wish to be cremated.  The family will receive friends on Monday morning, July 22, 2024, from 9 am until time of the memorial service at 11 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  Rev. Michael C. Conklin officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date in the Oakland Cemetery Ridgeview Columbarium, Sandusky.

   The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky, OH 44870 or to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
