Barbara Lynn (Allen) Warren, 66, of Port Clinton, OH passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, June 13, 2021, with family by her side at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky.
Born on September 5, 1954, in Venice, OH the daughter of Stanley Frederick and Norma Charlotte (Schmidt) Allen. Barbara was a 1973 graduate of Port Clinton High School. For many years she had worked as a self-employed housekeeper in the local area. Throughout the years, Barb had been an avid bowler, like her late husband Terry, and had bowled in several leagues in the Port Clinton area. She was known as the "Crazy Cat Lady" for her love for her many cats and dogs. Barb especially loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Kris) Carico of Marblehead, Lauri (James) Nietfeld of Oak Harbor and Danielle (David) Monhollen of Fremont; her five granddaughters, Kaylah, Savannah, Andrea, Sariah and Linda Mae; a great-grandson, Allen; her three sisters, Pat (Jim) Wendt of Port Clinton, Mary Beth (John) DeGrisky of Oak Harbor and Deb (Rick) Arnold of LaCarne; and two brothers, David Allen of Perrysburg and Doug (Joy) Allen of Port Clinton; and her nieces and nephews.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 36 years, Terry A. Warren (2017).
It was her wish to be cremated. A "Celebration of Barb's Life" will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 5-8 pm at Star Lanes at the Harbor Bowling Alley, 311 Buckeye Blvd., Port Clinton, OH.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to one's favorite cancer service agency.
Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
