Arthur Keller Obituary

Arthur Lee "Artie" Keller, Sr., 73, of Sandusky, OH passed away peacefully early Thursday afternoon, March 10, 2022, with family at his side at the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Born on January 9, 1949, in Sandusky, OH the son of Walter "Beansie" and Margaret (Mullins) Keller.  He was a 1967 graduate of Sandusky High School.  Artie was a veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp. and retired from New Departure-Hyatt Inc., in 2000.
Over the years, Artie enjoyed going out to eat, especially at Parkertown and Port Sandusky where he could sit for hours drinking coffee and chatting with friends.  Artie never met a stranger.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and always had a good time at the UAW picnics.  He loved life and family - with a heart 2 sizes too big, and lived by his motto of "Send Artie to the party".  He always wanted everyone to "have a good time and enjoy life".  Artie was able to love people even if they couldn't love themselves.
Artie was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church where he served on Vestry.  He was active in the U.A.W. Local # 913  and a former member of the American Legion Post # 83.
Artie is survived by his children; Scotia (Anthony) Delpercio of Sandusky, Mike Crandall of Tucson, AZ and Elizabeth "Beth" Colvin of Tiffin; 12 grandchildren, Abigayle, Christopher, Alivia, Kamron, Samuel, Theodore "Teddy", Jason, Dominica, Adam, Jameson, Paisley, and Blakely; 4 great-grandchildren, NaLayah, Lilliannah, Oakleigh, and Mariano and was looking forward to the arrival to his fifth great grandchild soon; 2 stepdaughters, Dani Reiner and Susan Lawrence; 6 step grandchildren, Shelby, Martin, Sarah, Ashley, Emily, and Madison; 2 sisters, Linda Bolton of Sandusky and Connie Drossman of Castalia; a brother, William "Skeeter" Keller of Castalia; aunt, Sandy (Harold) Ballreich of Port Clinton; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Including his special cousin, Rich Mullins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Arthur L. "Artie" Keller, Jr. in 1974; and stepdaughter, Christy Stevenson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 4-6 pm at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022, at 11 am at the funeral home.  Rev. Dr. Brian Wilbert officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.  Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 83 and the V.F.W. Post # 2529.
