Anthony Joseph Straziuso, SR.

 Anthony J. "Tony" Straziuso, Sr., 84, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020, at the Commons of Providence Memory Care Center, Sandusky. 
   Born on March 12, 1936, in Bellevue, OH the son of Michael Patrick and Dominica (Missioni) Straziuso.  He was a 1954 graduate of Bellevue High School.  For over 50 years, Tony had worked for Mayfair Management, before retiring.
   He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Huron Eagles Aerie # 2875, where he was past president and chaplain, and the Italian-American Beneficial Club. 
   Tony is survived by a son, Anthony J. "Tony" (Deb) Straziuso, Jr. of Huron; two daughters, Lisa (Mike Mets) Straziuso of Circleville, OH and Michelle (Jeff) Acierto of Huron;  three grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Acierto, Matthew (Abbey) Acierto and Heather (Michael) Steel; seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Bryleigh, Cole, Wyatt, Braylee, Carter and Scarlett; three brothers, Michael (Elizabeth) Straziuso of Long Beach, CA, Daniel (Jane) Straziuso of Bryan, OH and John (Pam) Straziuso of Sandusky; a sister, Joanne (Bob) Michel of Las Vegas, NV; and nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 61 years, Janet M. "Jan" (Trapp) Straziuso on June 1, 2018; and a brother, Rocco Straziuso.   
   Private family visitation to be held.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday morning, January 9, 2021, at 10 am  at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Chris Jesudhason officiating.   Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, in Bellevue, OH.
   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 6155 Rockside Road, Cleveland, OH 44131 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 23215 Commerce Park, Suite 300, Beachwood, OH 44122. 
   The Straziuso family would like to thank the staff at the Commons of Providence Memory Care Center for the loving care that they had given their father over the past couple of years, as well as, to the staff of Stein Hospice for their support during this trying time.
