Anthony Carl "Tony" Sartor, 83, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly late Monday morning, August 2, 2021, at his home.
Born on June 17, 1938, in Sandusky, OH the son of Alphonse and Magdalen (Keller) Sartor. Tony was a 1956 graduate of St. Mary's High School. He was a veteran having served honorably in the U.S. Army. Tony was a lifelong bartender in the Sandusky area, having worked for many years at Cameo and later at Bud's Tavern. Over the years, he had been an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns.
Tony is survived by his sister-in-law, Joan Sartor of Sandusky; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Eloise (Rolland) Westerhold, Theresa (William) Alber and Josephine (Gerald) McCormick; and his six brothers, Robert, Raymond, Albert (Phyllis), Donald, Thomas and Gerald Sartor.
It was his wish to be cremated. A "Celebration of Life" will be held for Tony at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity.
Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
