Anita A. Magi, 94, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening, February 27, 2021, at her home.
She was born October 1, 1926, in Sandusky, the daughter of Antonio and Adele (Adavini) Magi. Anita graduated from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic School and attended Sandusky High School. She worked at Delko Products (formerly A. H. Vogel Cake Decorating) for many years, retiring in 1992.
Anita was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She is survived by her brother, Aldo; special friends, Rennie Funni, Heidi Adams, Tom Leber, Joel Mazza, Paul and Alea Dahnke; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Rose (Frank) Marketti, Ann (William) Lorenz, Lucille (Mike) Palazzo, Victoria (Delbert) Kirkpatrick, and America "Bella" Magi; and three brothers, Henry Magi, Louis (Josephine) Magi and Salvador "Toby" (Frances) Magi.
Friends may call Wednesday morning, March 3, 2021, from 9 am until time of prayers at 9:40 am at the David F. Koch Funeral and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory. If you are uneasy about attending, please feel free to leave a message to the family on our website. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Fr. Monte Hoyles officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Sandusky.
